RockFLEET Assured Power Hub
Overview​
The RockFLEET Assured Power Hub provides a below deck junction box that offers simplified installation and power management for the RockFLEET Assured. The Power Hub will be configured to match your chosen RockFLEET Assured build option (NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 - note: factory only, cannot be reconfigured once shipped).
Key Features​
- Power management: incorporates a DC voltage regulator to power the RockFLEET Assured on cable runs up to 100m, and attached external devices.
- Lightning protection: integrated lightning protection for the Power Hub and connected downstream devices.
- External device integration: provides standard NMEA 2000 and RS422 connections for integrating APNT positions with external devices.
- Installation: discrete bridge mountable box with front facing connection port.
Connectors and Wiring​
Connector A - Power Supply DC power input connector with screw terminals. Supply voltage is 10-30V, positive wire left and negative wire right.
Connector B - NMEA 2000 Standard NMEA 2000 female connector for attaching the RockFLEET Assured to the Ground Control supplied Chart Plotter or any 3rd party equipment that supports our position and AIS NMEA 2000 sentences.
The Power Hub includes a NMEA 2000 terminator, completing a backbone connection to the RockFLEET Assured above deck unit, and connector B offers a drop/spur connection to the attached device; therefore cable lengths to the device should be no more than 6 metres.
Connector C - Screen Power and Serial Communication Our 7 pin plug in connector (supplied) provides power and serial communication (where required) for connected equipment:

Connector D - RockFLEET Assured Female 7 pin Amphenol connector to connect the Power Hub to the RockFLEET Assured using the supplied 25 metre cable (up to 100 metre cable can be supplied on request) providing power and communication with the above deck unit.
