Control via Cloudloop

Each RTU INPUT channel reporting values into Cloudloop data can have monitors configured. The outcome condition of the comparator set within each monitor can be used cause an action to be sent to ANY digital output on ANY RTU unit that exists within the user account.

This makes it possible to use a value monitored in one RTU location to control an action in one or more RTU's in other locations. For example a level sensor monitoring a river level at RTU1 could cause an alarm sounder to be triggered at RTU2 positioned at a point of flood danger many miles downstream.

Monitoring

Each monitor can be configured to cause an action if the comparator is TRUE. For the use case below the flood warning siren is triggered to sound when the water depth exceeds 2.2 metres and to switch off when the water level is below that.

Each time a new channel value is received the action message (is condition is TRUE) is generated and sent to the appropriate RTU unit
