RockBLOCK LED Indicators
RockBLOCK devices have minimal LED indicators to display power and module readiness.
There is no LED indication for transmit or network activity on any RockBLOCK model.
RockBLOCK 9602
🚫 No LEDs
The RockBLOCK 9602 does not include any LED indicators.
RockBLOCK 9603
The RockBLOCK 9603 includes two LED indicators:
| LED | Colour | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Power | 🔴 Red | Indicates DC power is present |
| Module Ready | 🟢 Green | Indicates supercapacitors are fully charged, and the Iridium module is ready to transmit |
- The Green LED turns off if the supercapacitor voltage drops below ~2.7V.
RockBLOCK Plus
The RockBLOCK Plus includes one LED:

Important Notes
- There is no LED indication for transmissions, network activity, or successful messages.
- LEDs on RockBLOCK 9603 and Plus only indicate power and readiness.
