Unsolicited Events
The RockREMOTE can be configured to send unsolicited events back to Cloudloop Device Manager (CDM). This is in the UI under System -> Events.
Unsolicited Events Configuration
Interrupt events are only sent to CDM when the Iridium is connected and provisioned for IMT. This occurs when the connection strategy is Auto, Cellular, or Iridium.
The following events can be enabled:
Location: Triggered by a GNSS location fix. The frequency of this is determined by the GNSS configuration. The data sent is a location fix.
GPIO: Triggered by a GPIO input interrupt. This only occurs when the corresponding GPIO is configured in a interrupt mode. The data sent is a GPIO state, which includes the Value
and Changes
count.
Boot: Triggered by a RockREMOTE reboot. Once the Iridium is re-connected and ready for IMT, the current System Information is sent.
Status Reports: Triggered hourly, every 8 hours, or daily. The frequency is synced to midnight UTC, so if configured to daily, it will send the System Information at midnight UTC.
