Position Display

The position display uses data that is streamed over BLE directly from the product.

When connected to the APNT version of the RockBLOCK PRO the user can toggle between GNSS and APNT. For standard Mini and PRO devices only GNSS positions will be available.

The map section of the display shows a comparison between the position reported by the PRO/Mini and the position sourced from the smart device running the app.

Position Screen Bursts. The number of Iridium APNT bursts that have been received over the last minute.

Processed Bursts. The number of bursts that are have been decoded in the last minute. Some bursts may not be decoded. as they may be corrupt.

EPE. Estimated Position Error. A measure of confidence in the accuracy of the position reported by APNT. After first enabling APNT it may take several minutes for the error to reduce.
